Twenty20 Exhibit

2023 Twenty20 Show Guidelines 

This year with the generosity of the Rainbow Chamber of Commerce and the CA Relief Grant we are proud to announce no fees for all Submissions in 2023! So no FEE to submit this year! The Twenty20 Show is one of the most renowned and prestigious exhibits in the region.  Only the best 20 artists are selected for spots in this exhibit based on the creativity of their theme. A panel of 3 celebrity judges will evaluate the submissions and choose the top 20. Each chosen artist will produce 25 – 8”x8” pieces for the show. This is also the gallery’s best selling exhibit of the year!  Works are generally priced at between $80-$180 per panel.

Any media is welcome to be submitted.  (Painting, photography, sculpture, woodwork, metal, glass, ceramic, etc.) Work must be 8”x8” – no smaller or larger will be accepted.  All work must be installation-ready (example: hangable).

• SUBMISSIONS ARE NOW DUE BY MARCH 5, 2023
  
• PIECES WILL BE JUDGED BETWEEN MARCH 6 – 7, 2023
• NOTIFICATION OF SELECTED 20 ARTISTS ON MARCH 8, 2023
• COMPLETE SETS MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN MAY 6, 2023

Given the nature of this historic show, we will be doing featured articles and press releases targeting a broader demographic. Extended marketing through Sacramento News & Review, The Sacramento Bee and NPR along with some of our regional art support organizations such as the Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission.
